    Could you technically make this into a HDA and have the scale, of the sphere and the Noise frequencys be controlled through a random seed generator which you can cycle to basically make endless versions of rocks? By just using a slider?

    with scatter sop normals as other attributes are passed through, but your original Normals were a vertex data type.

    I am in Houdini 19.5 but when I add the Cd attribute in the extrude's distance scale, in the VOP, it does not seem to accept it. Is there some conversion that needs to happen in newer versions of Houdini?

    Have to echo the comment. Cannot match the look using Houdini 19.5! Any chance you can update with 19.5 settings? For anyone reading this I found H18.5 works and will match the video.

    To get a range of values from 0 exactly to 1, subtract 1 from numprim inside the VOPs. This divides the range into equal sections in steps of 0.125.

    This is great tutorial. Attribute-VOP is very nice function. However Attri-VOP can't treat imported mesh which come from "file node". (Houdini ver19.5 higher) Do you know how to solve this problem?

    Have a question. Why do i have to have a color for the grid for this to work. I disable the color and then bevel is all over the grid. I understand that the color is coming from the cube which is technically getting transferred over to the grid... why do I need to have a color on the grid for the bevel to work ?

      Color is mostly for personal immediate visual feedback. Be careful with the naming of your attributes, and which control what.
